Late gets, nails, etc...

Posted by Suteisi ♥ at 7:41 PM 2 comments
I haven't had a post of "latest gets" in a while because I haven't been spending as much. I've been paying off my credit card, putting money away for Japan and trying to have some kind of a life. Not much has been going on though... During this transition from Summer to Fall, everything seems to slow down around me... Has it been like that for you too?

Well anyway. Flash back to July!

My last set of nails for a while. I had them done just before my birthday and got them removed in August. I decided to take a break from nails because I had been wanting to change my nail color every other day. I figured it couldn't hurt on my wallet at the same time...

Since then, I've been experimenting with different colors, new and old shades! I've been into matte colors more than ones with shines and sparkles. I especially love this shade of pink called "Greenwitch Village" by NYC.

Did the tips by myself, no paper, no stickers, no help. Just me and the brush from the bottle!
I think I've gotten pretty good at it, what do you think?

Back to July. During my summer vacations I went out of town and found some good deals on Oakley and Hurley t-shirts. These guys were my best friends for all of August!

For all of August I didn't spend money of clothes. Which is some kind of miracle (or is it?) for me because I always find myself buying at least one piece of clothing once a month, if it's not twice a month... When came September I was hitching to take wallet out on a small shopping spree, but I wanted to shop ONLY for things I REALLY needed. The flats I had been wearing all summer were giving me their last breaths and since I wear flats at work all year long I had to get me a new pair.

Globo Shoes had a pair exactly like my old ones! Happiness!

And while I was there I took advantage of their amazing sale on Winter boots. I only had 1 pair of boots for all of Winter last year. What the hell was I thinking considering I live in Canada, right? Well I just couldn't find any that I liked in my size. It seems the size I wear is always out when I find a pair of boots I really love!

I found these pairs and didn't hesitate. 60$! I think that's the cheapest I've ever paid for boots, EVER.

I really don't like wearing heels in the snow, and these turn out to be super cute and comfy! All the boots I've had in my life so far have been black, so I thought I'd got for this shade of gray to spice it up a little bit. I'm excited to wear these when the temperatures really get down close to zero celcius.

And then I ordered me a small package from Japan!

I've been wanting Soul Sister magazine since I saw it on Universal Doll and Rii's blog. This is the type of fashion I like the most out of Japan! It's edgy, a little dark, sexy and a little rock at the same time too! Totally love this magazine!! I'm definitely ordering the 2nd issue once it's available on HMV Japan.

And last but not least...

I'd been waiting for SO LOOOONG for Ayu Blu-rays. Her DVDs are all region coded, which means I can only watch them on my computer. Most of them aren't all that great quality of picture and sound either. The joy when I found out she was releasing Blu-rays of some of her past and now future concerts!! MAD HAPPY I WAS!! I order NEXT LEVEL Arena Tour 2009 (right) because that's the show I attended twice while I was in Tokyo. And Coundtown Live 2010-11 because it's the most recent show out to date and I really liked the previews I'd seen.

Let me just say it's preeeetty damn awesome to watch her on my HD TV, and hear her on surround sound.

*Fangirl squeal!*

That's it for now~

Have you gone shopping for Fall/Winter wardrobe yet?

December update

Posted by Suteisi ♥ at 5:17 PM 4 comments
It's December you guys! I hope everyone's been doing alright~

It's snowing right now, over here in my little corner of Canada. We haven't had any snow stay for more than a few days, but I think this one snow fall might actually stay for a while! I'm not sure yet if I'm excited about it or not...

Just a short update for December. Nails, hair products, skin products and a new pair of boots!

New nails!

I was due for a re-fill on my nails after 4 weeks. I opted for just white with blue and silver stripes.

Essential Damage Care "Nuance Airy"

I bought these on eBay.ca well over a month ago, but I didn't want to talk about it until I'd actually seen some kind of result or a difference at least. I heard of Essential hair products from an Advert XiaXue did on her blog (http://xiaxue.blogspot.com/).

I straighten my hair every day, so the ends of my hair is often dry no matter if I use special oil treatments once a month, or if I use more conditioner or not. XiaXue straightens and bleaches her hair quite often and she says she swears by these products. They are products from Japan, by a company named Kao. I couldn't find them in any store out here, but I found them on eBay for a very reasonable price! I got the shampoo (middle), conditioner (right) and the special treatment (left) to use once a week instead of the conditioner. I bought the smaller size because I just wanted to try them out.

And I'm SO HAPPY that I purchased these because my hair looks AMAZING! It's super soft and shiny, it looks natural and is super easy to style still!

If you're able to purchase these products online, I definitely recommend them! Last week I ordered the bigger size of shampoo and conditioner. I'm totally sold on these guys!!

La Senza skin products "Body Kiss"

A few weeks ago I dropped by La Senza and they had a sale on their Body Kiss collection. Perfumes, body mists, hand creams, body creams, etc. It was 3 for 25$ so I indulged myself. I like to use different creams once in a while, so I figured why not try these. On the left is the body swirl, middle is body lotion and to the right is a moisture double mist. The purple selection of the Body Kiss collection is called Sweet Sexy. I've been enjoying them quite a lot lately!

New favorite pair of boots!

These I just got today for a cheap 45$ at Stitches! I never drop by Stitches because personally, it's always a mess and I dislike the type of fabric they use for their clothes. But when I walked by today I noticed the whole wall at the back of the store was full of boots, so I said "Meh, doesn't hurt to take a look". And I found these! You guys might remember sometime back in September or October (I can't remember exactly) I bought a similar pair Le Chateau, but they were a little lower on the calves and had two buckles instead of three. On these ones, the buckles are a little bigger, and there's fabric coming out the top to make it look like socks. I loved them!! And what's most fascinating is these are size 8, and I normally wear size 9 or 10. And at 45$ I couldn't just leave them there at the store... I mean, really, who would of?

The only thing is they are a little tight, I wasn't able to fit my jeans inside, but they'll look great with a skirt or even just leggings!

That's it for now~

Have any of you guys been shopping?
Any new products you tried recently and would recommend?

Those boots are made for walkin'

Last weekend I found this picture in the Zellers' flyer for this week. I'd seen a girl with a similar pair in town a few weeks ago and have been just DREAMING about them ever since.

I rushed to Zellers to see if they had them and they didn't. u_____u Major boo. I did two Zellers and neither had any. Disappointed, I went home.

Last night, I'm walking around the mall just to change my mind and come across the Le Chateau. What's in the window? THE BOOTS!! I rushed inside to try them on and they fit perfectly!

HAPPINESS!!!!

Bought them on the spot without even hesitating!

I had the Zellers flyer with me and showed the two girls at the register of Le Chateau. They couldn't believe how the EXACT same boots they were selling, was displayed in the Zellers' flyer. (That page with the boots was promoting new sweaters, not the boots, it just so happened, that the girl was wearing them!) I thought that was funny! I'm keeping the flyer! Lol

They cost me a little more than I like to pay for shoes. BUT, as I handed the girl my plastic, I realized these were the 1st pair of boots I bought in TWO YEARS! Can you believe it? I almost felt embarassed. Lol

When I took these pics, I was wearing a skirt and knee high socks, so it looks a bit weird. But this weekend I'm gonna go out to buy a pair of skinny jeans (My very first! Wooaaw! It pays to loose 40 lbs! Teehee!) I'll take better pictures then~

Window shopping...

Posted by Suteisi ♥ at 9:10 PM 6 comments
Window shopping is very hard!

The other day I was bored, so I went around town and stopped at some shops. One of them was Globo Shoes. I try not to go there because they always have shoes I want, but it's expensive. I went in anyway, thinking "I will just try them on for fun!"

Huuuh... Bad idea.

I found these:

So cuuuutte! I tried them on, they were very comfortable!!

But... 50$? I can't justify buying them. (Saving for a car, remember?) So I didn't buy them. It took all my will power!!!

It was fun dreaming for 10 minutes while I had them on and walked around the shop!
