Sephora X Collabs

Posted by Suteisi ♥ at 3:59 PM 4 comments
I'm not out at Sephora very often because it's located downtown and I really dislike going downtown, so when I traveled to Carrefour Laval, my 1st stop was the make-up store.

I love all the collaborations they have going on. Especially 2 of which I took pictures of.

First collab: Hello Kitty

I spoke of this one twice on Gossip Candy, and the merchandise looks even better than I thought it would! If only it wasn't so expensive I would have bought the whole collection.

Look at all the cute bottles! X3

I was going to settle for a bottle of polish but the shade (pastel pink) that I wanted was sold out :(

Second collab: Toki Doki

Toki Doki was created by an italian artist, yet I think it represents well what some of your typical japanese mascots look like.

Eye shadows... All of their packages are super cute!

Everything you see here can be found on the Sephora website and most likely at your local store... unless it's sold out of course! Do you prefer Hello Kitty or Toki Doki?

(All of the pictures were taken by me, on my own time. I'm not paid to advertise any of these brands. I just really enjoy them, so I choose to share them with you guys. Hope you like! Suggestions for future products are welcome~)

Forever 21

Posted by Suteisi ♥ at 8:46 PM 8 comments
On the 1st weekend of October, my mother and I traveled 2 hours to shop at this huge mall called Carrefour Laval. I'd been there once over the summer and hadn't managed to do all the stores during the short stop, so I really wanted to go back.

One shop I hadn't had the chance to go to on my first visit was
Forever 21. I'd heard many things about this store but since there aren't any out here, I had never been to one.

I just got one thing to say:

IT'S LIKE MY BRAIN EXPLODED WITH AWESOMENESS!

Forever 21 has officially become my "go to" store for gyaru/gal inspired clothing.

The place reminded me of Japan so much!!

In the mist of running all over the place and being overly excited, I took a few pictures.
In NO WAY these pictures give Forever 21 its true justice. 2 floors with million possibilities of clothes coordinates!!

I ended up not buying any clothes, because I knew if I started trying stuff on, I would have spent over 200$ in that store alone. So instead, I contented myself with some make-up related goods. SO CHEAP! SO AWESOME! SO GIRLY!! Totally me. I'm in love, it's official.

This is what I purchased...

Yes. 2 sets of brushes.

And no, I haven't used them yet. They're so pretty I don't want to dirty them!

My very 1st pair of false lashes!!!

I'll be reviewing these once I have an occasion to wear them. Gotta make it special!!

Have you ever been to Forever 21?

September Gets

Posted by Suteisi ♥ at 3:58 PM 4 comments
It's October already! Time flies~ I did a little more shopping in September than I did in August! Gearing up for the winter once again...

But first!! One of my favorite looks right now...

This is a new tank top I got recently, paired with skinny jeans, a short cardi/vest and a long necklace, I had my look to go out with some friends 2 weeks ago!

Tank top in question! I got a green and a pink one. I'll definitely be going back to get more of different colors, they're super long and so comfortable! I'm in love~

Other things I purchases at Joshua Perets last month: 3 long sleeve tops!

Which one is your favorite? I really like the red one, with the designs all around it's funky!

And then I got these at Ardene! My first time ever buying clothes there. I remember when they only ever carried cheap jewelries.

Cutest slippers ever!

PJ bottoms! I love me some colors~

And then 2 tops for work!

Have you been shopping for the winter season lately??

Late gets, nails, etc...

Posted by Suteisi ♥ at 7:41 PM 2 comments
I haven't had a post of "latest gets" in a while because I haven't been spending as much. I've been paying off my credit card, putting money away for Japan and trying to have some kind of a life. Not much has been going on though... During this transition from Summer to Fall, everything seems to slow down around me... Has it been like that for you too?

Well anyway. Flash back to July!

My last set of nails for a while. I had them done just before my birthday and got them removed in August. I decided to take a break from nails because I had been wanting to change my nail color every other day. I figured it couldn't hurt on my wallet at the same time...

Since then, I've been experimenting with different colors, new and old shades! I've been into matte colors more than ones with shines and sparkles. I especially love this shade of pink called "Greenwitch Village" by NYC.

Did the tips by myself, no paper, no stickers, no help. Just me and the brush from the bottle!
I think I've gotten pretty good at it, what do you think?

Back to July. During my summer vacations I went out of town and found some good deals on Oakley and Hurley t-shirts. These guys were my best friends for all of August!

For all of August I didn't spend money of clothes. Which is some kind of miracle (or is it?) for me because I always find myself buying at least one piece of clothing once a month, if it's not twice a month... When came September I was hitching to take wallet out on a small shopping spree, but I wanted to shop ONLY for things I REALLY needed. The flats I had been wearing all summer were giving me their last breaths and since I wear flats at work all year long I had to get me a new pair.

Globo Shoes had a pair exactly like my old ones! Happiness!

And while I was there I took advantage of their amazing sale on Winter boots. I only had 1 pair of boots for all of Winter last year. What the hell was I thinking considering I live in Canada, right? Well I just couldn't find any that I liked in my size. It seems the size I wear is always out when I find a pair of boots I really love!

I found these pairs and didn't hesitate. 60$! I think that's the cheapest I've ever paid for boots, EVER.

I really don't like wearing heels in the snow, and these turn out to be super cute and comfy! All the boots I've had in my life so far have been black, so I thought I'd got for this shade of gray to spice it up a little bit. I'm excited to wear these when the temperatures really get down close to zero celcius.

And then I ordered me a small package from Japan!

I've been wanting Soul Sister magazine since I saw it on Universal Doll and Rii's blog. This is the type of fashion I like the most out of Japan! It's edgy, a little dark, sexy and a little rock at the same time too! Totally love this magazine!! I'm definitely ordering the 2nd issue once it's available on HMV Japan.

And last but not least...

I'd been waiting for SO LOOOONG for Ayu Blu-rays. Her DVDs are all region coded, which means I can only watch them on my computer. Most of them aren't all that great quality of picture and sound either. The joy when I found out she was releasing Blu-rays of some of her past and now future concerts!! MAD HAPPY I WAS!! I order NEXT LEVEL Arena Tour 2009 (right) because that's the show I attended twice while I was in Tokyo. And Coundtown Live 2010-11 because it's the most recent show out to date and I really liked the previews I'd seen.

Let me just say it's preeeetty damn awesome to watch her on my HD TV, and hear her on surround sound.

*Fangirl squeal!*

That's it for now~

Have you gone shopping for Fall/Winter wardrobe yet?

June Update

Posted by Suteisi ♥ at 9:29 PM 0 comments
I can't believe June is almost over already! This month was kind of slow, but went by pretty quick also.

Everything that's in this post was bought today, except for the nails and the colorful shorts. No kidding! Tons of sales at the mall, I was super happy. It was an awesome shopping day~

Starting with nails for June.

White background with "cracked ice" in pink. These are pieces she puts on top of the polished nails, with a coat of powder that turns clear with liquid. I think these are the coolest nails I've had. Ever.

Two pieces from Dynamite http://www.dynamite.ca/

My top favorite buy of the day! Bright orange dress~
It looks more peachy in the picture, but really, IRL it's ORANGE.
I'm planning to wear this out for my birthday next month. Mad excited!!

Top on sale. I like out it looks like camo with pink. It fits great and is different from most tops I own and wear lately.

Joshua Perets pieces. On sale also YAYZ!<3

This is supposed to be a dress, but since I'm so tall as usual, I'm planning to wear these with shorts or knee length leggings. I love the color though. Again, pic doesn't do justice. It's a bright hot pink with a funky back.

I couldn't get this blue tank top without the yellow one. I tried them on together, blue layered over yellow and it looked AWESOME. I love it <3

Jean shorts from Ricki's. I've been looking for comfy shorts like these for quite some time, but the ones I found were always too short or ripped, or weird colors... Got these ones finally!

Shorts to match the bikini I bought earlier this year. Super soft and comfortable!

Trade Secrets had a sale on OPI polishes this week. All and any of them in stock for 7.99$ instead of regular 9.99$. Had to get a shatter in there. My favorite color of the bunch right now is the blue~

Random polish that was on the counter at Ricki's when I bought the shorts. I couldn't not get it, it was right there, brightest pink ever, staring at me. Cheaper polish, will see if it lasts as long as OPI... :B

That is all the shopping for this month, plenty enough if you ask me. I want to say I should be good for the rest of the summer, but shopping is too much fun to restrict myself until the Fall.

Have you been shopping lately?
Any awesome buys for the summer?

May shopping haul

Posted by Suteisi ♥ at 6:06 PM 6 comments
May 21st has come and gone. I don't know for you guys, but that day for me was pretty damn awesome!

I found a trainer for my bike for 20$ (sold 200-300$ in store) in a garage sale, had sushi, went out to hang out with my father and little bro, met friends for wings, walked downtown for the evening and had ice cream. On top of that it was super warm and sunny, finally felt like a REAL May day.

I went shopping a week or two ago. I felt the need to buy a few new pieces in hopes it would warm up outside, and it did! Hopefully it can stop raining again...

Shopping haul!!

BRIGHT yellow top with neon orange/peach and purple designs.
Totally in love with this one.

Mini jean skirt from SmartSet.
I wear it a lot with the yellow top above.
Super cute outfit~

Black dress with metallic designs on the sides.

What it looks like...
Eep. Messy room is messy :B

Grey dress with gold/silver designs. I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be a dress anyway.
But since I'm pretty tall, it's a bit too short for me, if I bend everyone sees my bum, so I've been wearing it with black leggings cut to the knees. Really like this look!
A first for me~

Key chain strap thingy.
Saves me 5 minutes from looking in my purse for my lost car keys!

Nails for May.

Until next time chickas~ Ciao!

Have you been shopping for the summer?
Get any dresses and skirts?
