Earlier in July, Chunky Bling got in touch with me for advertisement. I was surprised, honestly, I never thought I'd be approached to advertise something on my blog. I saw this has a great opportunity and accepted their partnership.

Chunky Bling is an online jewelry company based in Utah, USA. They have watches, bracelets, rings and necklaces. All made with beads, crystals and all types of blings you can think of.

Doug of Chunky Bling was super pleasant to deal with and he offered to send me a piece of jewelry from the website. I choose the Swarovski White Pearl ring (http://chunkybling.com/rings/swarovski-pearl-white). I already have plenty of necklaces and am not someone that wears watches or bracelets very often so I thought a ring would be perfect. Within a week and a half I received my package!

It looks fantastic! For such a low price I was honestly, pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product. It has a string underneath the beads, so it stretches a little to fit certain ring sizes, but it's not super elastic that it's uncomfortable.


Ever since I got it, I've worn it several times at work and have not taken it off all day.


Over all, I'm super pleased and honored to be part of this new partnership. The jewelries look awesome, they are affordable and Chunky Bling's customer service was great!

I Left My Heart In Tokyo

I haven't been shopping much lately because I'm going out of town for 3 days in a week, and I want to shop lots when I'm over there.

But here are a few recent gets...

Love Ring

My "love ring". I'd been searching a ring to wear on my right index finger, but couldn't really find anything that appealed to me all that much. I found this one 2 weeks ago in an Avon catalog that a friend of mine had brought home from work. I just HAD to get it, it's perfect, I love it.

Cuban shell bracelet

My sister traveled to Cayo Coco in Cuba for a week, two weeks ago and she brought this back for me. I told her I just wanted an ankle bracelet, I didn't really care what it looked like. I love anklets for the summer and since it's approaching soon I'm on the hunt for new ones (my previous ones have all changed colors or broke). This bracelet is made out of real shells and has a specially designed cord that makes it so you can wear it around your wrist or your ankle since it's re-sizable.

Tear drop swarovski pendant

This isn't recent, I received this pendant as a gift from my Valentine on V-day. I forgot to take a picture of it and put it in my February update. So here it is~ I love swarovski and he knows, so of course I was reaaally happy when he gave me the little blue box. I already have one swarovski necklace, it's a small, pink heart with a butterfly. I think I'm starting a collection...

Garage T-shirt

T-shirt I got on sale for 10$ at Garage clothing store. I stopped shopping there a while back because I found it was too young for me now, but sometimes they have good sales on t-shirt and one can never have too many. This one stood out of all the other ones cause of it's color. I found it looked good with my skin tone.

I left my heart in Tokyo T-shirt

This one I couldn't leave the store without it. Especially since it was ONLY 5$ !!! Can you believe it? I don't think I've ever purchased a piece of clothing so cheap. Plus the statement on the t-shirt itself is true, and could not be more true. I traveled to Japan back in 2009. I was in Tokyo for 2 weeks. I loved it there, I want to go back, I will go back. Part of me said there when I left. Fun fact. My belly button is pierced, has been since I was 16. While I was in Japan, I was wearing a belly ring that my mother had bought me a few months prior to our trip. It was just a simple silver one, with a rhinestone and a clear crystal heart hanging at the bottom. Did you take a guess yet? Yep. I woke up one morning and the little crystal heart was gone. Poof! Disappeared! We looked all over the room and couldn't find it. I LITERALLY left my heart in Tokyo. :)

Summer 2010 - Shopping

While I was on vacations, I did quite a bit of shopping. This might not seem like much for some of you guys, but this is a lot for me, especially within the matter of 3 days!!

First purchased item was this:



I always ONLY wear big round hoop earrings, BUT the top of my right ear is also pierced and I thought these would look awesome. So basically I've got two, but I'm only wearing one. It's not always in view because my hair falls over it, but when you catch a glimpse of it it shines and sparkles. I really like them!

Next purchase:



Belly ring with dangling swarovski crystal. Last summer, while I was on vacations, my mother bought me this exact same one. I was wearing it when I was in Tokyo and lost the dangling heart (so now I can literally say I lost my heart in Japan! Tee hee~). I was very sad, it being a gift from my mom, but I moved on. I'm shopping in the same exact store she bought it from last year, and they still had some! AND IT WAS ON SALE 50% off! How cool is that? I couldn't not buy it.

Then while walking around one of my favorite mall in Quebec city, I came accross this shop called "Ecko". I'd never seen it before, there are none like it over here.



Simple white t-shirt. Orange and pink are my colors, so I had to get it.



I do this a lot. Buy the same top or pants, but in different colors. Some say it's weird or silly, but that's how I go. When I like something, I want to buy lots of it because I know I'll end up wearing it a lot. And it's silly to start a load of laundry for 2 tank tops and 1 pair of pants. Lol

So I got a black and a white one. I love the design on the front, it looks like graffiti. The sleeves have little studs on them and the way the shoulders are cut, they kind of hang lower down compared to other t-shirts. Plus these are super long, go way down my bum, so I'm sure not to flash anyone with my low-rise jeans. LOL

Then I went off to Smart Set. That store is part of my top 3 favorite stores. They've got laid back stuff, but also really nice business attires for work. I bought the followings for work:









Can you tell the style with belt right under the chest area is popular this year? At first I wasn't too sure but as soon as I put one of them on I fell in love! It's like I lost another 10 lbs! Magic!!

And this outfit, I got at Reitmans. Black pants and the top BOTH on sale. Cost me 50$ for both!!!



I think this outfit is my favorite buy out of all of this!
