I haven't posted all week because I was on summer vacations! This year I only had one week off, so I wanted to make the most of it. There are a lot of things to do in my city, but I love traveling, so that's exactly what I did.
We headed for Quebec city for 4 days. It's 5 hours drive, so we decided to stop somewhere along the way. One of my favorite place to stop is Montreal. And in Montreal, there is China Town!

It's a specific area of the city, there's a gate at each end of the street. They look the same on both sides, with the statues.

The first shop we went into, was PACKED. But I mean, WOW PACKED! And it was very random.

Lots of typical asian tops and dresses. Some parasoles as well.

Anime and Hello Kitty everywhere.

Then we walked down further, not exactly sure what we were looking for. Just browsing really.

There were other shops similar to the first one we encountered.

This one was selling paintings, crafts and even some kites!

And there was this store. It's at the end of one of the streets completely. It's been there ever since the first time I went to Montreal's China town (which was quite a while back!). It sells a variety of things, lots of CDs (anime soundtracks and j-pop, though I'm 100% sure all of the j-pop ones are bootlegs), magazines, crafts, plushes, etc, etc.
I found a ViVi April 2008 with Namie Amuro on it, so I bought it. I like ViVi a lot, plus it has Ayu's Deiji Deiji Diary in it.
Then we broke for lunch, stopped at a tiny place called Deer Garden.

Beef with veggies and steamed rice.

Vermicelli curry with shrimps and pork.
Was delicious!!
After that we got back on the road and made our way to Quebec, about 3 hours from Montreal.
More about Quebec in my next entry! Stay tuned~
